The Car
A 1957 Chevy Bel Air that originally came from Florida. It literally came to us in bushel baskets, and after a lot of time (and money!) we got it back together. The engine came out of an old dirt track car and it’s still pretty fast (not that we try it once in a while…)
The Theme

We did the car in black and gold because we wanted to show what’s going to happen in the end times. On the hood is what’s known as the rapture – the coming of Jesus in the clouds – and every born-again Christian leaving this earth and being “caught up” with Him in the clouds. No death, so what a way to go! (By the way, nobody knows that day but only the Father in heaven.)
The rest of the car has what’s going to happen in the end times. Some horrific events (such as the anti-Christ, judgments, the battle of Armageddon, etc.) but then a beautiful new earth when Jesus Himself comes back to rule for a thousand years. It will be truly wonderful!
