"Corvair 316"
The Car
Our number 316 Corvair reminds some of us (if we’ve been around long enough) of Ralph Nader’s attack on this Chevrolet model, stating in his book that the car was “unsafe at any speed.” While it had some minor handling issues, what was quoted hit the newspapers and almost forced GM to stop producing these cool cars. Well, GM fixed some of it’s so-called “problems” and actually Corsair’s are fun cars to drive. But don’t let car 316 fool you with its racing stripes, mag wheels, twin, carbs, and four-speed stick… It’s pretty much a “grocery getter.”
The Theme
We’ve given you a few facts so you can know the “truth” about Corvairs, but now we want to share a much greater truth with you; a “truth that will set you free!”
There are six verses from the Bible on car 316, and they are all from the New Testament. Each one has a word, or thought, which we hope will encourage you. But, we’ve used a special, reflective lettering which is only seen when light shines on the words. Look carefully at the picture above and you’ll see the verse, but it’s dim. Same for each number circle!
Hey friends, God’s word (scripture) shines light, revealing His wondrous truths WITHIN our hearts! So if we turn to Jesus Christ and search for His truth, we WILL find it. And this is real truth according to God’s own promise… “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13
