God Has Been So Good!
We’re most excited to be embarking on the next step of God’s leading in the ministry of God’s Rods… The new H.O.P.E. MUSEUM and coffee shop in Lockport, New York!
H.O.P.E. stands for “History Of People Everywhere” and is located in a highly visible location in Lockport, New York on the corner of Upper Mountain and Townline Roads. We are going to market it for not only Western New York, but also for our surrounding States and Canada as well.
The Museum will lead visitors through an awesome experience of sight and sound through creative and fun displays including interactive audio/visual experiences, all revealing true world history from Genesis to Revelation.
The Coffee Shop will offer the opportunity to help support the Ministry. Visitors and everyday local friends can stop for a hot coffee or specialty drink along with a pastry or dessert. There will be a gift shop to include “merch” like books and specialty items. The coffee shop will be available for groups and family parties too!
So what do we need first? It is prayer. The sole purpose of this building is to bring glory to God and to bring “Light” to an ever-increasingly dark world.
We’ve already been blessed with the generous gift a 3.4 acre lot, and after a year of hard work, we’ve received approval from the Town of Lockport Board on the project and can now proceed with the construction phase.
Our friends in the Town of Lockport are almost as excited as we are to make this Museum happen. It’s truly the first of it’s kind in Lockport!
With all this preliminary work behind us, we’re now ready to begin building and also “curating” the exhibit space! So we are looking for people who share in this vision, and who are willing to help us create the exhibits. We will need craftsmen (and women), creative designers, AV & multimedia experts, computer geeks, and others … So whatever gift(s) God has given you, you can be greatly used to reach our generation, and Lord willing, in the ones to come. All for God’s glory!

From the President…
I want to share some things since God’s Rods became a not-for-profit ministry eight years ago. Our ministry has mainly been handing out tracts and Bibles, and talking with people about salvation through faith in Jesus Christ at various church functions, parades, car shows, etc. Through this work, God has blessed us tremendously! Recently, I have asked young people if they would like a Bible, and sadly, many have never heard of one. So God put it on my heart to have a place where the Gospel is shared year-round to all ages, as our present ministry season is very short due to our weather.
So the HOPE Museum. What will it look like? It will start with Genesis 1:1 – Creation – but also the “Fall” of mankind, and most importantly, the promise of the coming Messiah of Israel. This “King” will be interwoven throughout the entire Old Testament, its major events and characters as space allows. You will also see Satan and sin. Darkness and evil. But God and His goodness is really what is going to be on display throughout the tour.
So that is one meaning of H.O.P.E. – the past, and that would include when the Messiah does actually come and Jesus would be His name. That will be the focal point of the tour… our need for Jesus’ birth, His life, His death for sins, and His burial and resurrection… ALL to defeat the works of darkness and death, sins curse. That is where we will need help to show how He lived and why He came for you and me. That leads to the meaning of the Museum… Hope for ALL people in the world!
The great news about the gospel message is that it is so simple, profound, and life-changing that even a young child can understand it. That is why the Museum tour is going to be set up for children and people of all ages. It will have original artwork displayed, along with many educational and fun displays so that people can know how we came into being and why we were placed on this earth. So I hope you share in our excitement as we bring the truth from God’s Word alive!

P.S. This is quite a bit of information we have given you, so in the days ahead we will keep you posted on developments that will encourage all of us, where we are at financially, and what the new not-for-profit ministry for the Museum will look like.
One thing I forgot to mention is that some events from the future will also be displayed. People often ask us what is going to happen on this earth in the days to come, and it will be great to show them from God’s Word the good and the bad.
