'65 Corvair "Saved By Grace"
The Car
A 1965 Corvair that originated in New York State, and as it had a pretty good patina on the outside, we left it just as it was. These cars are air-cooled with the engine in the back, and the spinner hub caps were probably the only option on the car.
The Theme
You’ll probably notice the number 2:8 on the door, but it also has on it 2:9 and 2:10. These are all verses out the Book of Ephesians and they all go together as God intended them to. For it’s by grace we’re saved – not by us working for it. It’s simply a gift from God so that we can’t boast about it. For we were created by God to do good works – something He had prepared for us even before we came into being. And it is all about us bringing God the glory He deserves.
